At Kennedy Place, residents enjoy more than just an extraordinary place to live; they find a thriving community and a sense of home, all while enjoying outstanding service and first-class amenities.

Resident Christine particularly appreciates the dedicated staff and the strong sense of community, while Susanna, who moved from Adelaide, cherishes the friendships and diverse activities available at the premium over 55 community.

David, captivated by the stunning 180 degree views and resort-like amenities, values the social opportunities that keep him engaged. Diane, the first resident to reserve her apartment, embraced the change after 81 years in the same house, drawn by the reputable architects who designed Ardency Kennedy Place.

Each resident's story highlights the unique blend of comfort, community and luxury that defines life at Ardency Kennedy Place.

Christine values the exceptional service of the staff

"I find the concierge just fantastic."

One thing that stands out at Ardency Kennedy Place for resident Christine is the staff. “This place is quite amazing. I think one of the things that makes it what it is is the staff. They are very community-minded, they really care about the people that are staying here and they are very helpful. I find the concierge just fantastic.”

Meeting new people and having great conversations is also something Christine highly values. “There is a real sense of community. There are people from different walks of life and you meet some very interesting people when you speak to them.”

The safety of her home while she's travelling was another deciding factor for moving in. “In my case I wanted to downsize and lock up and leave because the intention was to live overseas for about 4 months. So I told myself that I am going to have a look at this place and then I had a couple of looks and then I decided that this is it. I loved what facilities they were offering.”

Susanna made the move from Adelaide - and never looked back

"I have more friends here than I actually ever made in Adelaide after living there for 60 odd years."

Susanna has lived most of her life in Adelaide, but the move to Ardency Kennedy Place in Melbourne has been one she will never regret. "I have more friends here than I actually ever made in Adelaide after living there for 60 odd years. Everyone is so friendly and nice.”

“I love all the activities that are available here as I love doing exercises. I am very health conscious, so I do the Pilates exercise class and even do meditation that I have never done before. Never done meditation in my life and I love it. I like doing the walking tours, qigong, hydrotherapy, naturopathy and enjoy the massage therapist and hairdresser that come.”

Finding the right balance has really worked for her. She has found great friends at Ardency Kennedy Place and even though she lives alone, she never feels lonely. “You don’t feel lonely if you are living alone. In fact, sometimes you just want to stay in your apartment just to be on your own.”

She loves that she has the freedom to do both - be on her own when she wants to and socialise when she feels like. “You just come up here to level 8 where the rooftop bar is and have a coffee and someone else will pop up or you give someone a buzz and say ‘Hey I am going to level 8, do you want to come for a coffee?’ That sort of thing is amazing. Everyday is a bonus here, special, something different everyday.”

David enjoys the sweeping 180 degree views

"Just about everything here is similar to being in a resort. It’s complete, it’s luxurious, it’s very comfortable and it’s well thought-out.”

David was in for a surprise when he visited Ardency Kennedy Place for the first time. "It was a revelation when I came here. It wasn’t what I was expecting, in fact it exceeded my expectations. It was really good.”

Living alone since his wife passed away, David understands the importance of staying socially connected. “You become unaware of how socialising is very important as you age and that is one thing that works here. I have met a lot of people here in the happy hours we have every week. Everyone is very open, very sociable and very friendly and they seem to have the same aim as me - to find somewhere we could meet with other people.”

David also enjoys the remarkable location of his residence. “The first thing I found out was the residents’ lounge, dining area and the rooftop terrace with views across the city. I can come up in the morning after I make my breakfast by myself, bring my paper and sit in the sun if it is sunny and look at the whole of the city. From the city round to Mount Dandenong, a 180 degrees! That is quite spectacular! Just about everything here is similar to being in a resort. It’s complete, it’s luxurious, it’s very comfortable and it’s well thought-out.”

“I like my apartment. It is large enough for me and it’s got 2 bedrooms. If I have someone to stay overnight I have the space to accommodate them and if I want to have a little pet I can have that too.”

Diane embraced change after 81 years in the same house

Diane, the first resident to reserve an apartment at Ardency Kennedy Place, embarked on her new journey with remarkable enthusiasm. Having lived in the same house for 81 years, the move to the premium residence was a significant step for her. Her decision was driven by the remarkable reputation of the prestigious architects involved, Keyton's esteemed history as a developer and the stunning views Ardency Kennedy Place offers.

She especially appreciates that the building is not located on a busy main road, while still enabling a cosmopolitan lifestyle close to all the amenities you need in the vibrant suburb of Richmond.

Diane recently celebrated her birthday and her new Ardency Kennedy Place family made it an unforgettable occasion. She was serenaded with a heartfelt birthday song and indulged in her favourite pistachio cake. It's clear that Diane has not only found a new home but also a warm and welcoming community to share her journey with.
