What assistance do you offer Residents in relation to moving?
Making the decision to downsize and move into your new home at Ardency should be an exciting time. Don’t spoil it with unnecessary stress and worry. Let us help you! All of the staff at Ardency are here for you; from recommending specialist removalists to connecting your utilities and helping you to get to know your new home and your neighbours.
What about organised social activity?
You can do alot – or do a little… the choice is all yours! The Concierge team will organise all manner of social events for Residents, from theme dinners in the restaurant to movie nights, theatre trips, and even short term holidays.
What recreational facilities are provided at The Baytree by Ardency?
Surround sound cinema, indoor heated pool and spa, gymnasium, games, craft and woodworking room, library with internet, bowling, putting and croquet greens,barbeque and alfresco dining terraces.
Home delivery services?
We are able to arrange for local businesses to supply items such as groceries and pharmacy lines to your front door.
Can my visitors/guests dine at the restaurant?
Of course! We are delighted to welcome guests of Residents.
Can I have visitors at Ardency?
Family and friends are most welcome at any time. We encourage families and friends to visit Ardency as often as they wish.
Where are the garages?
Underground. And you have an actual secure, spacious garage – not a car space – with its own remote operated door. 2 bed apartments have a single garage, 3 and 4 bed apartments have double garages.
Is there visitor parking?
Yes – there are 33 visitor spaces allocated.
What is the purpose of the Concierge desk?
Our Concierge Staff are there to meet and greet visitors to The Baytree by Ardency ensuring the security of Residents at all times. Our Concierge is also there to assist Residents with any issues or requests, large or small, that they might have from time to time… just like in a boutique hotel.
Are the apartments air-conditioned?
Absolutely, with each one having its own individual system – on or off, hot or cold, the choice is all yours.
Are telephones supplied in the apartment?
Yes – the telephone is part of a system used throughout the Resort which also enables Residents to dial other apartments or facilities such as the Concierge desk, pool area or restaurant on an internal call basis.
What about data cabling and extra power points?
All apartments are wired for pay television and data cabling.
Why does Ardency supply all the whitegoods (fridge, washing machine, dryer etc)?
We make it easy for our Residents be taking responsibility for the whitegoods. If an item requires replacement it is our responsibility to arrange and cover the cost. It also means we’ll have just one or two reputable service technicians visiting apartments at Ardency from time to time, ensuring greater security within the Resort at all times.
Who is responsible for other maintenance within the apartment... changing lights, fixing leaking taps and the like?
Ask us! Our handyman will also gladly assist with the hanging of pictures within your apartment or any other such small jobs for which you might require some assistance.
What type of healthcare can be provided if required?
There are many excellent care service providers in the market who bring a host of services to you in the comfort and privacy of your own apartment, should the need arise. Such care is supplied on a user pays basis and we can supply more detailed information with regard to this upon request.
How do the Residents have a say in the running of The Baytree by Ardency?
Residents are encouraged to elect a Residents Committee which will then meet on a regular basis to review the day to day operation of the Resort, and to approve budgets and rules in accordance with the Retirement Village Industry Code of Practice Regulation.
